NOT A FARMERS MARKET - NOT A FLEA MARKET

What’s a Hyper Market

It’s not just about commerce — it’s about creating experiences that feel authentic, accessible, and welcoming. By working closely with each community, we design marketplaces that enhance and complement their surroundings, making them true destinations for both locals and visitors alike.

Northwest Marketplaces specializes in creating vibrant, one-of-a-kind marketplaces that reflect the rich history, culture, and unique needs of the neighborhoods we serve. From the Fremont Sunday Market to SLU Saturday Market and beyond, each of our events blends elements of a farmers market, flea market, and artisan fair — offering a truly eclectic experience that goes far beyond shopping.

What sets us apart is our commitment to local flavor and community spirit. Our markets are filled with independent artists, vintage curators, food purveyors, and musicians, all coming together to turn everyday streets into lively hubs of creativity and connection. While we love our farmers, we’re just as passionate about offering something different curbside — a space where discovery happens around every corner.

 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT

Ruby Threads Clothiers

Dan and Melissa Groussman started Ruby Threads Clothiers in 2009 as an excuse to maintain their travel habit to Vietnam, which they've been visiting for over 20 years.  Also knows as "Ruby Suits" - their made-to-measure clothing venture has grown much since those early days and we now maintain relationships with several excellent tailors who we personally visit twice a year.

They focus on taking your custom clothing orders in the Seattle area and beyond and then working directly with the skilled artisans who make them.

By keeping the chain of supply simple and short, they’re able to keep costs down while still maintaining ethical pay and practices for everyone involved.  We're well-known for customer personalization that would cost much more elsewhere. Go on, get a suit from us!

Visit Dan at the Fremont Sunday Market in Seattle or by appointment during the week to discuss your wedding group clothing needs. You contact him directly via email: RubyThreads@yahoo.com
